The People Behind Onyx Detailed Joinery

Onyx Detailed Joinery is a professional joinery and renovation business based in Unanderra, serving clients across Wollongong and neighbouring regions. Established in 2024, the business is led by founder Jarryd Trindall, who was born and raised in the Illawarra and brings more than a decade of local joinery experience to every job. The team has contributed to recognised industry projects, including the 2025 Staron® Design Awards Residential Category Winner and the 2024, HIA NSW Awards winner for Best Residential Kitchen.

  • Initial Enquiry

    Book in a site visit to discuss what you want. We take a structured, collaborative approach to every renovation, guiding you from the first ideas through to final installation. Our process begins with a clear understanding of how you use your space.

  • A Detailed Quote

    This can be prepared within 24 hours.

  • Pre-Production Stage (4-12 Week Window)

    If quote is accepted, moving into the stage of computer aided shop drawings with colours and selection of hardware and materials.


  • Production - (4-12 Weeks)

    After finalising your design, we then send your project to our workshop for building. Depending on the project we can build and install within 4 weeks.
